At 0317 festival, everyone should be able to be themselves, feel supported and fully enjoy the party. To make that happen, our dedicated awareness team is present to create a safer space and shift our nightlife culture toward one of care and mutual respect. We are doing our best so that you can have a good time!
While our event staff is busy keeping the festival running smoothly, the awareness team is here to support you. Whether you have a question, a worry, are feeling unwell, or simply need someone to talk to, they are ready to listen without judgment and help you find the support you need.
Where to find the awareness team?
You can spot the awareness team on the festival grounds by their purple vests with “awareness” printed on the back. They will be making regular rounds to check in on the crowd. You can also find them at the awareness booth located in the art market.
Get to know our house rules
We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with our house rules before entering our festival grounds, as we all share the responsibility of keeping our community safe and welcoming. Take care of yourself and look out for one another – if you see someone who needs a helping hand or just some water, don’t hesitate to make a chat or flag down an awareness team member.
Inclusion, Respect & Consent
- At this event, you are free to be who you are and express yourself as you wish, as long as you adhere to our house rules.
- All forms of discrimination, such as homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism & ableism, are strictly prohibited.
- Always respect each other’s boundaries: only a clear “yes” means consent. All forms of misconduct and boundary-crossing behavior, such as unwelcome comments, unwanted physical or verbal advances, (sexual or verbal) harassment, and (physical) violence, are not allowed.
Reporting & Support
- You can report inappropriate behavior, either involving yourself or someone else, in confidence to the awareness team (recognizable by their purple vests). Other crew members can also direct you to them.
- Our awareness team assumes that reports made by bystanders and victims are truthful. If you report an issue on the spot, we will support you and take immediate action to make the dance floor safer that same evening.
- If you are unable or prefer not to make a report on-site, you can still do so after the event by sending an (anonymous) email to report@popupop.nl.
- All reports are recorded, stored, and internally evaluated by us. The anonymity of visitors is, of course, strictly guaranteed.
Substance Policy
- The possession and use of illegal hard drugs are strictly prohibited. Excessive alcohol consumption is not permitted.
Access & Consequences
- PopUPop events have a door policy that denies access to individuals who threaten safety and inclusivity. Discrimination may never be a reason or motivation for denying entry to visitors.
- In the event of misconduct or a violation of our house rules, popUPop reserves the right to remove individuals from the event.
