Setting the tone on our Mother of a main stage is Zobayda, an Egyptian DJ and artist currently based in the Netherlands. In creating space with music, they honour the tradition of bringing people together through rhythm and percussion. Focusing on energy instead of genre, they mix an array of beats and sounds with influences from around the global south and its diaspora. On top of that, they will be celebrating not only international women’s day but also their birthday with you, this Saturday! 💚
